heena’s story
A documentary about a Muslim girl in Jodhpur, India, who attends a private school, and wants to be a doctor. I was there for ten days during Ramadan. Friday afternoon, the men were praying in the mosque while family and neighborhood women gathered in Heena’s home for prayer. Later, the day’s fast was broken with a meal prepared, in great part by Heena.
